Privacy Policy

Who we are

FridayFills is a trade-journaling tool in early development. It is run by an individual based in Colorado, USA; there is no company behind it yet. In this policy, "FridayFills", "we" and "us" mean that operator. You can reach us at support@fridayfills.com.

This policy covers fridayfills.com and its pages, including the waitlist and the analyzer at /app.

What we collect

1. When you join the waitlist

The waitlist form sends the following to our server, which stores it in a database (Cloudflare D1):

• Email address (required).
• Broker and main strategy, if you pick them from the optional menus.
• Which form you used (the one at the top or the bottom of the page).
• The date and time you signed up.
• Your browser's user-agent string (which browser and operating system you use, cut to 200 characters).
• Your country, as estimated by Cloudflare from your IP address.

We do not store your IP address, referrer or any other details with your waitlist entry. If you sign up twice with the same email, we keep only the first entry. The form also has a hidden spam-trap field; if it is filled in, nothing is stored.

2. When you use the analyzer (/app)

The analyzer is JavaScript that runs in your browser tab. When you choose or drop a CSV file:

• The file is read and analyzed on your device. It is not uploaded to FridayFills, Cloudflare or anyone else.
• Nothing from the file is logged, measured or saved. The page doesn't use cookies, local storage or other browser storage, so the results disappear when you close or reload the tab.
• The JSON and CSV downloads are created on your device.
• The page's security policy (Content-Security-Policy connect-src 'none') tells your browser to block the page from making network connections. Like any web page, it still has to load its own files from our server first.

We can't control software on your own device, such as browser extensions, so use a browser you trust.

3. When you visit the website

• Hosting. The site runs on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address, browser details and the pages requested. Cloudflare handles that data under its own privacy policy.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics. On fridayfills.com, Cloudflare adds its Web Analytics script to pages. It doesn't use cookies or browser storage. It records page views and page-load performance (for example, the page address, the referring page and load times), and Cloudflare says it discards the IP address and doesn't track visitors across sites. The analyzer's security policy blocks this script on /app.
• Google Fonts. The home page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends Google a request that includes your IP address and browser details (see Google's privacy policy). The analyzer and these legal pages don't load Google Fonts.

4. When you email us

We keep your message and email address so we can reply and keep a record of requests, such as a deletion request.

Cookies

We don't set cookies or use browser storage on any page. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it needs to check suspicious traffic, for example during a bot challenge.

How we use it

• To email you about FridayFills: early access, launch and important product news.
• To decide which brokers and strategies to support first (the optional menus).
• To keep the waitlist free of spam and duplicates, and to keep the site running and secure.

We don't sell or rent your information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the service providers that help us run FridayFills (today, Cloudflare). If we start using an email delivery service to send waitlist emails, it will receive your email address only to send those messages. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep a waitlist entry until you ask us to remove it, or until we close the waitlist or stop working on FridayFills, whichever comes first. When we close the waitlist or stop the project, we delete the list. We keep emails you send us for as long as we need them to handle your request. Analyzer files are never received, so there is nothing to keep.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe: every waitlist email will tell you how to unsubscribe, or you can email support@fridayfills.com at any time.
• Access, correction and deletion: email support@fridayfills.com from the address you signed up with, and we'll tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it.
• Analytics: you can block Cloudflare's analytics script or Google Fonts with a content blocker. The site still works.

We'll honor these requests wherever you live.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, and access to the waitlist database is limited to the operator. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect to a minimum.

Children

FridayFills is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a minor has joined the waitlist, email support@fridayfills.com and we'll delete the entry.

Where data is processed

FridayFills is run from the United States. Cloudflare may process data in the United States and wherever else it operates.

Future features

Planned features, such as accounts or an emailed Friday review, would mean storing your trade data on servers or sending it to other service providers. None of them exist yet. Before we offer any of them, we'll update this policy to explain what data they use and how.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use waitlist information, we'll also email the waitlist before it takes effect.
